Every Thanksgiving, Jim and Linda’s oldest daughter, Sharon, makes her show-stopping French apple pie – and trust us, it steals the spotlight! With warm, cinnamon-spiced apples and a buttery crumb topping, this pie is the dessert everyone waits for. After trying it, you might just find yourself ditching the classic crust-topped pie forever. Here’s to sharing a slice of our family’s favorite tradition with you – enjoy!

  • 1 1/2 Cup Sugar

  • 1 Cup 4 Tbsp Flour

  • 2/3 Cup Cold Butter

  • 1/8 tsp Salt

  • 3/4 tsp Cinnamon

Directions

  1. Mix 3/4 Cup Sugar, 4 Tbsp Flour, 1/8 tsp Salt, 1/4 tsp Cinnamon with the 6 sliced Apples and set aside.

  2. Make a single pie crust and put apple mixture into it.

  3. Mix 3/4 Cup Sugar, 1 Cup Flour, 2/3 Cup Cold Butter, 1/2 tsp Cinnamon. You can double this mixture for an extra dose of YUM. Pour over apples.

  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until brown. Add foil over the edges of the crust so they don’t burn.
